The Islamic perspective of Equality and equity
Abstract
In Islam, equality and equity are fundamental principles that govern various aspects of life, including social, economic, and legal matters. These concepts are deeply rooted in the teachings of the Quran and the sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. The Islamic perspective of equality and equity can be understood through various aspects such as compassion and kindness, spirituality and worship, and economic and legal issues. Islamic teachings provide a framework that aims to ensure fairness and justice in all aspects of life and promote a society where individuals' rights are upheld and protected. However, the understanding and implementation of these principles can vary depending on cultural, societal, and historical contexts. Therefore, this paper aims to provide a clear picture of the concept of Islam on equality and equity regardless of any available practices.
