THE BEAUTY OF MOHIBULLAH NOORI’S WORK IN THE CONTEXT OF VIRTUES OF NAAT: AN OVERVIEW

Abstract

The love of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the truth that pervades the heart. It is an addiction that cannot be eradicated. The subject of praise of the Holy Prophet is very great and sacred. Mohibullah Noori is among those lovers who devoted their life in this great subject. He is prominent among the poets of the modern age who are famous for their ‘Naatiya Kalam’. He inherited the priceless wealth of Muhammad's love, which can be gauged from his Naat collection "Armaghan-e-Mahabbat". Noori’s ‘Naatiya Kalam’ is a menifestation of the flow of love towards the right direction of his imagination. "Armaghan-e-Mahabbat" is mostly in the form of ghazal.  In the genre of ghazal, the abundance of love and affection has the glory of the ghazal. This paper is an overview of Noori’s Kalam in the context of Prophet’s love for the Muslim Ummah and his praise.
